The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that a truck driver was unhurt after crashing off the road and down a steep embankment.

The crash occurred around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, about 12 miles south of Ellensburg, Washington.

Trooper say that the truck was traveling westbound on I-82 at mile marker 11 when the truck driver, 29 year old Ray Juarez-Perez, lost control.

You know, I wonder how many mishaps are blamed on GPS, when it's really the drivers stupidity. Thank goodness for GPS,, I can see it now, "hey, this GPS isn't even plugged in",,,

He left it at the viewpoint to see if he could down the hill faster. Maybe he succeeded. Some of those can haulers that run the area just can't figure out there is a curve at the bottom of that 5% for....I think 4 miles.

One ridge back he'd be in a canyon.
