I briefly worked for a small company that doesn't use DAC. Backed into a car. I quit for an unrelated reason. Do I have to list them on an application? How will potential employers know I worked there if they don't use DAC?

Going to have to explain that gap in work history. If you had any DOT inspection it will show on your PSP. Who really wants to hire someone that lies on their application?

if you do not jot down that former employer, you WILL NEED to fill in that time gap. so why hide or lie?

just jot down the accident, it'll still be on your permanent work record. then say if you are asked at the interview, "you learned a valuable lesson from your mistake"...

to be upfront will be better than to hide truths/facts, and get FIRED when they find out later.

If nothing else, the insurance company will know. Because of that DAC might actually know about it from checking the insurance database.

In either case, if you don't list it, when the new company goes to put you on their insurance it will be known.
