hey guys and gals,
we have have a bunch of new pete 567 with the collision avoidance system and having nothing but issues. the brakes will come on when there is no need, dinging and beeping all the time.
has anyone found a fix for this issue other than unplugging it?

Have the aiming checked and recalculated....

BTW if you even think about just unplugging it.... the C/C won't work... it runs through it.... and you'll get a bunch of codes....
Only the dealer can change the ecm settings to delete it and as it's a factory installed SAFETY item they won't....bigworm709 and tscottme Thank this. -
Freightliner seems to have a much better system. That Bendix system seems to pickup lots of fake or it just not smart enough ignore bridge and signs and stuff.
