Also on their site it says 14 days out 2 days home is that accurate (seems short for otr) and is it a full 2 days or closer to 1.5? Do days home accrue if you stay out more than 14?

Yeah Bison owns them, but Britton seemed to have autonomy of their operations.

Generally speaking that's true, but they're pretty flexible. Ideally they want the truck doing 10k miles a month

They might have local work available too.

I'm going to recommend Magnum. Run OTR for a year pulling a reefer then switch to the Dedicated or LTL divisions and be home every day still making decent money.

I've worked for both sides and was always treated fairly. No company is perfect, but they are at least an honest one. The equipment is good, the pay is decent and the sleeper trucks are equipped with apu's inverters, and a fridge for comfort on the road.

I firmly believe that they are one of the best companies for beginners and even for experienced drivers they can be a good choice.

I haven't heard of a trucking company that pays for relocation for a driver position. That's not saying never but I wouldn't count on it. I think you'll be paying for your own move. Have you checked out the online classifieds for what rent will run in the area you want to live?
As far as companies Magnum is the first one I thought of and seems to be recommended here often.
    Good luck.

I drive for Halvor Lines out of Superior, Wi. He have flat, Dry van, Decked Van, and Refrigerated divisions. We pull a lot of Polaris out of Roseau, MN which is in NW Minnesota . We also run all 48, Canada, and Alaska. I don't know about relocation assistance, but it would be worth a call.

Thank you for an honest review. What is the standard days out/days home split in their otr division?
