You ever see their van trailers with the guy in the red cap smiling on the back? That's the owner running it in dry.

Ummm, I don't think he can explain on this family friendly forum. :D But I'm pretty sure it has a little to do with you getting screwed by this company.

Dart used to be good when I ran with them 10 years ago, but they got greedy and shifty. I would not recommend them today.

An old friend did the lease crap deal with Dart 10 or 12 yrs ago. After few yrs, they starved him out by giving him just short mile trips, that's his story anyway. And the problems he had with emission repairs too. That part is on him for not budgeting, saving for repairs. He bailed on it, instead of paying off the truck first. He's a knucklehead for that part.

Personally I wouldn't work for them at gunpoint...but there may be a niche to make a living.
They have alot of freight contracts they just don't give any $ to the driver.
I knew a guy who retired there, operated his truck on the same route w same customer for over 20 years and did alright.

Dart was a good company when earl and don ran it but when Dave took it over things went down hill quik .
I'm the 70s 80s and early 90s lots of people retired there and you could make a decent living there even with reasonable truck payment, with a payed off truck you did well.
I left in 1991 about the time don retired as it was turning into a greed fest , always was a group of drivers there that got all the gravy .
I've no regrets for leaving and would never go back .

The people on the back of those trucks creep me out nearly as much as Dr. Fauci.
I think it is the flaccid, half dead eyes. Not to mention the fake always half smiling face.

'Come to me... be one of us.'
That was the opening line to a song in Tommy.
An opening line to a big scam.
