You guys add anything? Mean Green, Purple Power, Dawn soap, etc? My windshield could do a side gig as a professional bug killer, and regular fluid isn't cutting the mustard.

Edit: People are replying with what they use. My reservoir holds two gallons. What ratio do you cut in? Rough estimate.

I cut mine with dawn . Gets rid of the film that u get when using the truckstop squeegees. Mine keep freezing up tho. Havent figured that one out yet.... Sucks when its road salt and squirters are froze up , wipers just smear that crap everywhere

Whoa. This is literally the reason I'm asking. My wipers are a week old, and they won't even clean the lines left by the squeegee. I figured the water in the bucket must be full of all kinds of whatever, so I'll try out some Dawn. Thanks, @D.Tibbitt

Well you have idiots that wipe down their tanks, hoods, etc.
It amazes me how ignorant the modern day steering wheel holders are.
Doing truck washes on the fuel islands is another pet peeve of mine. I'll save that rant for another time.

Dump a bottle of isopropyl alcohol in to prevent freezing or get the 20 below fluid. Probably has alcohol in it. Not sure what they use to lower the freezing point

I will try the alcohol. I have the blue fluid that says -30 .. But that might as well be +30 because as soon as it hits 28 they are froze...

Add a quart of that 90% isopropyl alcohol you use as anti gel to your washer reservoir... It helps alot with freezing nozzles.

But with all the alcohol being used for hand sanitizer these days it is kinda hard to find... And often they limit how much you can purchase at a time.
