I was thinking the same thing. The one and only Elk I have narrowly avoided would have taken my hood off had he not moved out of the way. I was determined I would not swerve as I was on snow covered roads somewhere in Colorado in the middle if the night. Who knows what happened here.

I’m not cattle hauler but I run Cali to Denver every week. 80-85 is what we do in the largecars. Cuz they’re geared to go fast. My other trucks you have to push them to go fast. There’s only so much a 400hp engine can do compared to 600+hard to put it into prospective. You gotta live it.

I used to hit elk all the time. I bought a headset that allows one button calling. Now I don't hit elk anymore.

New Mexico and Florida like to mess with us.

New Mexico seems to have a special hard on for anything with a race car painted on the side of it.

I understand they're in a hurry for a reason and never get in their way. But some, like the one that was pressuring me, im in a 65mph company truck minding my business and hes right off my back trailer doors and even gives me the finger when i moved to let him pass...u dont gotta tailgate just because others are slower, a bullhauler will rollover just like any other.....just my rant from experience with driving around bullhaulers...

Coffey, DoubleO7 and Swine hauler Thank this.

Except when its not possible like 54 across Kansas, some spots there are no shoulders to let one pass until u get to a passing zone.....

Why u knocking those of us who drive company trucks, just because we dont drive 80 mph doesn't make company trucks unimportant u wouldn't have a way to transport that fresh beef to market without a company reefer like at National Beef in Liberal......
