It’s not even about being a trucking vet. All it takes is a 5 minute google search of truck leasing to show you it’s a horrible idea.

Some people say good and some say bad you can't really determine if a company is good or bad unless you experience them yourself doesn't matter what google tell you. Experience is the best teacher!!

Wether you lease a truck, ( and I hope you do!) or purchase a truck they are mearly two ways to the same goal. Securing the means to start a business. If you treat your job like a business with an eye on your costs compared to revenue you could make a lease work as well as purchasing your own truck. I think statistics would support my contention that most businesses whether they are trucking or whatever fail because they are under capitalized.

Yes its a shame the above poster did not first do his due diligence first could of saved a ton of money and he'd have far less grey hairs on his head.As the old saying goes "if it sounds to be good to be true ...... it probably isn't"

Why experience something, when thousands already have. Just like basic training. I see some recruit getting lit up, I'm going to learn from HIS mistake. No need for me to make the same mistake to "experience" it.

So basically you listen to everything people would tell you?? I'm pretty sure you've tried something even when people told you not to

Yeah, that's totally what I said.

Of course. But someone telling me not to do something is not the same as seeing thousands make a bad decision, and then going ahead and following the lemmings off the cliff.
