Hi,
I am trying to locate where the block heater plug is on my 2014 Volvo VNL 670... I have a D13 engine. This truck didn't come with a manual and the only plug I see is under the sleeper bunk and it says Cab Power. I looked by the passengers side bumper and didn't see anything there. Help!!
2014 Volvo VNL 670 Block Heater Plug location?

My plug is under the driver's side door area. On my D16, the block heater is up high on the passenger side, towards the front of the engine. The cord is a weird metallic colored, insulated looking one. If you have one installed, you should be able to trace it to where the socket plugs in.

You probably don't have one if it isn't obvious on the front of truck or under driver's door. Mine doesn't have one, it's a 2015 Volvo.

I am trying to find what it looks like online to make sure I know what I'm looking for. I'm starting to think I do not have one.

Does anyone have a picture of what it should look like?

Also, the problem is I am in Chicago and my truck is frozen, so I rented a generator to plug it in, but no luck. Any tips on what else I can do if no block heater?

Heck I have even seen guys putting a portable electric stove under the engineRosepatita Thanks this. -
Turn the ignition on and wait for the truck to do its checks, then instead of turning the key forward, push the key inwards towards the steering column. You should see a little icon light up on the bottom left of the dash. That will preheat your intake air. As soon as the light goes out, start the truck and it should fire up a bit easier. You will have higher than normal oil pressure, but once the truck warms up it will return to normal.
