Sorry. Been on home time and running hard. Before and after the home time. IT'S been good. Just understand that you are learning to pass the test when you are in school. After that is when they teach you how to drive the truck.

No. She wasn't my recruiter. I had the head recruiter. Sadly I don't remember his name.

    Lonesome and 650cat425 Thank this.

So I kinda abandoned this thread. Sorry about that. With running hard. I started slacking. But here is my update.

Currently not driving. I'm back home in Florida getting ready to start chemo in the next couple of weeks.

I started having some stomach issues in May. Thought it was acid reflux. But when I was running through NM on my way to CA. I ended up so dehydrated that I had to go to the hospital via ambulance.

Learned that I have stage IV pancreatic cancer. Was in the hospital from 6/13-6/29. Company was good about repowering my load, recovering my truck, and inventorying my belongings.

The cancer doctor in NM said she gave me 2 years left. But luckily the doctor I am seeing in FL doesn't think that way. He believes it's early enough stage IV to cure.

Depending on how things go. I should be back in a truck by around 18 months. Maybe sooner.

My company has been good to me during all of this time. But I'm not sure if I will be going back there. Since I don't have a full year under my belt and I will be out of a truck for a year. I'm guessing no matter where I go. I'll end up having to do orientation with a trainer. But hopefully for an abbreviated time frame.

Sorry to hear about that but glad you are getting treatment. You’ll beat this $$$$ and be back to trucking soon.

I’m sorry to hear that. I lost my cousin to something similar two months ago. She lasted 3.5 years. She fought it off it came back less than 6 months later then the rest is history. All I can say is #### cancer
