I have no doubt there were pileups.
But when I started trucking the limit was 55 mph and all those in the videos seemed to be going faster than that imho.
But we also learned how bridge decks are colder then roadbeds when we got a drivers license.
Maybe it was a northern thing.

The speed limit used to be 50-55 then they raised it to 60-70. Which I don't know why they did in the city.GYPSY65 Thanks this. -

I had a guy back into me so close he closed my mirror to the window
He had 2 weeks experience and his trainer 3 months
Neither of them had ever been on snow or ice. Or in bad weather

This am. Same thing so I assumed roads were not much better being in TX. MN would have been better prepared but evidently not here
