I’m wanting to add Some 4 inch lights on the back of my trailer, anybody know what size hole you still. Is it 4 3/16?

I would suggest using a 4"? holesaw or whatever size and practicing in something like luwan or thin poly or scrap metal before doing the real ones. I have done some already, but I forget the real size.

Buy bolt on bracket for that light. Use it for a template. If the metal is thicker the hole has to be larger.

I was gonna say I'm pretty sure its 4.5inch. I'll have to check for sure when I get back to the shop

Yeah it’s 4.5 for the lights and grommets I’m using. I didn’t think they had to be that big but they are.

Driver,I just installed xtra lights in the back of my cab(aluminum)I used a 4 3/8 and they were a little bit too tight, One thing for sure,I won't be losing them anytime soon! Lots of spray silicone on the lights to get them to seat well! If I had to do over,believe I would make the holes with a 4 7/16.No believing about it,I would definitely!
