50 vehicle pile up in Fort Worth on icy interstate

    Last I checked it was atnear 100 but they were still pulling vehicles off of other vehicles as of this afternoon and recovering bodies as well from what I understand

    You're exactly right, but these new guys working for the megas are job scared and bullied into hauling in any weather.

    News traveled faster back then, we had this radio invention that drivers used to use to warn others about things like this in front of them.

    I bet 2/3rds of trucks do not have a radio in, or on, their truck these days. Maybe 1/2 when they hit a backup. Mine stays on at all times.

    Some of the news reports were showing CRANES being used to lift some of the vehicles off of each other. Not a good sign.
