Broker admits what he gets paid isn't truckers bussiness

Dude no one cares what you drive , how much you grossed , trailers , tires ...lower the costs - better .
2000 freightliner with 2000 trailer delivers the load as well as 2021 volvo with 2021 trailer.
Doesn't matter what you grossed - only whats left after expenses . Someone who grossed 3500 could have more money left in his pocket than you

I wish some of the brokers on the forum would chime in. But I have seen it said here before that if a broker is able to make a killing off some companies loads, sooner or later another broker is going to steal that freight. And that is what happens on their end.

 

Isn't he a business man running a business as well? Brokers aren’t charities nor are you.

 

Right, and if the general contractor doesn't want to pay that then the sub doesn't get the job. If you went to all the work of getting your own customers would you tell the owner ops you hire exactly what it'll take to undercut you?
