We are talking Corinth, MS, when the scales for 45 and 72 were sorta up in town. You took
a right at the old K and K Truck Stop (3 or 4 miles south) tooled east quietly on a nice little CR to a dead end, turned left and hit 72 at then Lake Hill Motors. One old bridge, but it would hold
you up with ear corn piled up to the deck rail on a single axle trailer on the back haul.
So cattle going up was even safer. Back then that was the only scale between AL line and

If you get caught running the scale at Banning, they bring you back, cite you for running the scale, give you a Level 1, then feed you to this tiger they keep around back.
