I've drove a lot of different trans out there like most of the drivers here.

I'll take a 13 or an 18 any day and twice on sunday. Your options are so much better than any other offering out there.

the top 2 does the same thing, but the werners are a 9 speed trans that can be converted to a 13 speed

I enjoyed the Super 10 I had in one truck, but I had to break myself of the habit of slapping the shifter handle back and forth to be sure I was in neutral b4 starting the truck.
I'm not sure what the upper HP and torque limits are for the Super 10, but having 500HP or so the past few trucks, I've stayed with 13's, and I like the extra splits.

    IV what am I missing?

When floating the shifts the clutch use is the same with a 10 or an 13/18.

Hhmmm, how to word this. So the Werner top two. When on the high side, it works like a thirteen with no splitter. Then in 9th it shifts into what would be 13th automatically? Just wunderun.:biggrin_25524:

What it is with some of these people?
The garage isn't the place for the emo's to be hanging around.. Its for discussing trucks and mechanical issues, and if you don't have a reply or question about the subject then by all means ####.. :biggrin_25516:

IV if you just wanna cry and get kicked around some, go over to the other threads I post in and I'll hook you up.. :biggrin_255:

yes, it splits 9th gear on its own. their is a top 2 valve on the back of the trans that does this. the engine controls it and tells the top 2 valve when to shift

    johnday Thanks this.

I'm a newbie and the Super 10 is the only big truck manual I've ever driven. To me the Super 10 is fantastic. It saves at least 1/2 the lever shifts for the same result.

    I have been running a super 10 since 2002 .

I didn't like it the first time I drove it !

    I still don't like it today !

For air shift transmissions I like the 15 over but my all time favorite is still the 6x4 .
