I shut down over 3 hours ago at exit 23. I must have happened not too long after I passed. I heard on the radio there was a crash right before exit 41 with 6 trucks and multiple 4 wheelers. A few minutes ago, a driver said it took him 3 hours to get here from the circle.

I parked my truck until Friday,Thx God, I made it home after a trip on icy roads to Texas and back over past few days , watching the carnage along the roads and four wheeler spinning out of control around my truck, its the time to make gray hair not money.

Google Maps
On google map if you enable traffic on phone or desktop , shows closed roads like this now I-70 west of Vandalia IL, interrupted dark red along the section closed and closed road sign, if you zoom in or move the cursor above the "road closed" sign can see the direction closed , green means traffic moving well at road speed, yellow slow, to>> dark red very slow.

Ive been reading qualcomm messages about icy roads, accidents, stay off this road and that and suddenly I'm not so mad that I've been stuck in Miami FL at a shipper refusing to unload my truck while piling up detention for the past 3 days.
Trucker61016, Bud A., tommymonza and 4 others Thank this. -
Snow and ice on the road, stay at home and enjoy rye whiskey.
