I have a call in to the PA PUC for an answer, but wondering if anyone else has done this. I have heard that if you are an out of state interstate carrier, you have to register with the PA PUC if you haul any loads that originate and deliver in PA. Any info? What filings are you required to put in if you do have to register? Taxes?

Need to register and yes there are taxes. Or wait until you're caught and plead ignorance. LOL. (doesn't work)

Don't forget the state of New Jersey if you plan on making intrastate deliveries there...

Did get a call back from PA to confirm the registration needed. Will have to register as a Foreign LLC ($250) and with the PA PUC ($100), plus tax filings. It's amazing all of the different paperwork that needs filed. Especially when they keep it a secret until they give you a ticket.
I'm hoping to never have to go to NJ. -
Those fines are beyond what the human mind can comprehend and what mere mortals can afford.
