I just purchased a 2016 Peterbilt 579 from the salt lake city UT Pacce.

It has an MX13 engine and I'm liking it so far.

    What did you choose?

So the KW had a better warranty than the international?

I drove a 485 MX13 and now I drive a 565 X15. I personally loved that Paccar and would take it back in a heartbeat. While the Cummins runs decent, you have to keep it wound up to 1800 RPMs to climb any sort of hill, or it falls on its face. With that Paccar, I could run it down to 1000 and it would still be pulling. I climb the same hills maybe 2 MPH faster now, but the engine is screaming.

Did they make you pay extra for that warranty. The Pacca website states the warranty is included but the dealership wants $4000 for it, $7000. if I want 2 years?

    Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
