More bad news

Trucks are already scanned at pretty near all ports going into the U.S. from Canada if not all ports. That's what those rectangular posts that we drive passed on our way up to the booth are.

 

I’m pretty sure the yellow scan posts is for radiation. VACIS is always after the booth. Anywhere I’ve crossed in 22 years anyways.

 

My understanding was those are light x-ray. Could be wrong though

Yes, and not only for radiations, few years ago, I set off the alarm at booth in Port Huron,Mi pulling a load of potting soil which contained ammonium nitrate can be used in explosives.
A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine triggered radiation alarm approaching the booth crossing into Detroit , two days before that was injected with some radioactive stuff , a medical procedure for bone density scanning . They sent him inside scanned the truck and his body with portable radiation scanner which was blinking like a Christmas tree ,was all radioactive. He got a letter from clinic and they let him go.
I'm wondering if we get get an unhealthy X-ray radiation dose just passing through scanners, my hair start thinning and nuts dry up like raisins.

 

So are lot lizards.

 

They say it’s not high enough to cause issues, yet officers who are pregnant don’t work the vacis. Hmmm...
