It's best if you have your own plate because if you decide to leave them for some reason it's a lot easier to go with your own plate.

You are running under their Authority so they will tell you what you need to do to be legal and compliant under their MC and through their insurance company..

 

Signing on the carrier makes sure your compliant. I have thought about my authority, but I'm lazy. Being a lease operator isn't so bad. But there are good and bad companies.
