    Intermittent front blower problem.

A few weeks ago blower was not turning on at all. Found the circuit breaker tripped.
After resetting it, everything appeared to function normally.

About 10 days ago we started noticing the blower would stop, start, change speed during normal operation. Heat/AC does not seem to matter.
Also the fan speed frequently does not correspond with the control knob.

Strange as it sounds the blower is frequently running when the truck is not turned on. When this occurs the blower does not respond to control knobs in the front or in the bunk. And blows mainly cold air.

Often the blower will run whenever the Espar heater is on. This is an air heater, it does not integrate with the ducting so it shouldn't do that I expect.

Quick addition, Sometimes the blower will not work at all but then starts again after the truck has been off.

The tripped breaker would point to a shorted/failing blower motor. The erratic speeds would need further testing, but still pointing towards a bad motor. As far as the operation with the Espar, it is programmed to come on in the front on low, on cold when the bunk aux heater is turned on to prevent stale air and condensation from forming in the front cab.

    Bugsy1108 Thanks this.
