Or is this an entirely "Dayshifter"/"daywalker" territory? I've been a night-shift/vampire for all the jobs I've had and recently got a call back from a Saia PnD position in ABQ. Guy seemed pretty eager to get me on with my years of experience. But I just feel I won't adjust to the whole "day-timer" culture/climate/lifestyle.

I’m not a P&D guy but any hub I’ve ever run to has had drivers doing what I would assume were swaps in the wee hours of the morning. That’s the only P&D gig I would ever consider after a decade and a half of delivering sugary snake oil. Delivering to dollar stores soured me on dealing with customers.

Come on, man. What could possibly be better than delivering to Gollar Deneral and having to stand in a specific spot in the store under a surveillance camera waiting for a minimum wage employee that hates their life to sign your delivery receipt??

I'll definitely have to keep that in mind. At least I won't have to deal with the rigors of moving for another job.

I recently left Saia, and McUzi did some time there as well. There’s a reason they’re eager to hire you. Do yourself a favor and maybe look at Estes, FXF or OD. I’m certain you’ll sleep better at night or during the day depending on what kinda job you settle on. Have you considered linehaul? It’s an awesome gig imo, but it’s not for everyone. If you’re a young man, look at UPS package not freight.

Auto parts delivery is a big industry that's usually done overnight. O'Reilly and AutoZone have private fleets that deliver to their stores. Automakers also do this, but usually through a 3PL provider. DLI Logistics, CPC Logistics, and DHL Supply Chain are some of the ones that I know of.
