Where Are You Continues, Again.....

I was surprised when I pulled up. I figured maybe 2-3 trucks at 6:15 I was #7. When I left there was 3 trucks in the street waiting to get in. They probably had a 3hr wait.

 

I'll be having fun the next couple of days. I've got 15 hours left on my 70. But only get 3 hours back, in total, the next 2 days. Due to the ice storms in TX last weekend. After that, I start getting back 9-10 hours a day. Luckily I won't burn too much up today. I will drive straight up to the receiver. Then go on split birth for the 2 or so hours it takes to get unloaded. Then boogie to a truck stop and shut down for the night. So I should only use 6 hours. That gives me 12 hours for the next two days. lol

 

If you're going to tracy , not alot of parking around there! It fills up fast!

 

Finally the loud people left the hotel n it's all calm n quiet again...
except for the fireworks out there n people screaming on the street at the end of some soccer game this afternoon...

 

I don’t have the patience to type out everything that went on today, so I’ll just say... what a trucking day
Getting ready to go to bed here on the north side of Nashville I have a early am appointment.

 

My day has been rough. (Not really) I am half way through my 34 reset. But had to give up my trailer this morning for one of our Rail Yard drivers. No empties up here in the Bay Area. So now I am sitting bobtailed at the PFJ in Patterson, CA drinking a nice ice cold beer and spring cleaning the inside of my truck.

I'll probably call the CA planner later this afternoon to line up my load for tomorrow morning. So I have a pre-plan in my Qualcomm, can get my route figured out and just hit the road after I have my breakfast/coffee in the morning. I'm also going to reach out to my DM and see about a truck wash. The GOAT is dirty from the snow and road treatment in TX last week. She needs a bath. Other than that. I'm chilling with TTR and watching TV.

 

It's ok... I guess I can say we understand... and I have had many days like that...

Paid a Uber type of driver to drive me to notary office about 40 kms north of here and back...
This afternoon walked to the arts n crafts fair nearby to see a girl friend and had long nice chat with another lady from Argentina... she gave me her address and invited me to go visit her so we can go out and do things...
Contacted some real estate agencies in the city of Rio requesting a list of apartments...
Will need to move to that city until the end of next week...
Unfortunately they charge almost twice the price of this apartment and their places are tinny... less then one third of the size of this one... and don't have the nice bakery / snack bar downstairs... or the nice grocery store 5 walking minutes from the apartment like this one has...
But they are in the frigging city of Rio... Where I must be to do what I need to do...
