Sounds like an alternator issue starting. Also, visually check your batteries to see if anyone is bloating or leaking, that too can make the alternator do the things you mentioned.

The issues I was having actually had nothing to do with my truck and everything to do with the trl I was hauling. Go figure. As soon as I unhooked from it, I no longer got the msgs. During the early part of the day, they had actually gotten really bad and my entire display kept going black, which caused a check engine light to come on. Once that came on, the blinking and flashing calmed down for a bit. Then all of a sudden, it kicked my cruise off and it wouldn’t work at all. 400 miles with no cruise and 67-68 mph sucks royally, y’all.
Almost turned down this Miami load for Monday because I thought I was going to have to put the truck in the shop. No loaner for me. Uh uh. People are nasty. But, like I said, as soon as I unhooked, I had no more msgs and since I didn’t run the truck last night, when I started it this morning, everything was cleared. I did ask Steven at the shop to check my pigtail just to make sure it wasn’t me.
So if you get trl 7756, you may have issues. He was going to see if he could get the trl shop to look at it before it was sent up to front royal, but driver beware.
And now that I’ve really looked at my delivery, Oy vey! Blindside with very little room. That’ll teach me! LOL

Sounds like some kind of grounding issue on the trailer was back-feeding to your tractor causing your electrical issues. Hopefully that’s all it was. If it happens with another trailer most likely it’s your pigtail.

It has done it a couple of times with the current trl, but nothing like it was doing before. I will get the shop to take another look at it when I get back to RVA. I’ll be headed home - hopefully a day early. And nope, I’m not coming back a day early either.

Remodeling in the WM building is starting tomorrow supposedly. They temporarily moved everyone upstairs, so if you come into WM all the personnel are working upstairs now.

If it is done it on more than one trailer, then you probably have an issue with a pigtail on your tractor. Somewhere that thing might have corrosion and it’s not making good contact.
