Yeah that's what i figured, but apperently WE isn't the best place, but like many say its a good starter company which is all it is for me. Gonna do my few months here then see if i can find something regional around Louisiana like Ozark or H&R trucking, im still looking around but im doing my best to keep my record clean so i have no problem walking through doors soon.
Having some truck issues with a new company and needing advice.

Ain't proud of it but I did 15mos with ol western express.... 9400i is what they gave me to drive. It was an olllld smithway truck and the thing couldn't pull a hill to save itself. CB antenna got hit by lightning somewhere in MO and burned through a hot cable and the truck would just randomly shut down. It did this out in PA once going uphill and in the middle of a busy cloverleaf. Truck finally had to go into the Memphis for a clutch related issue wherein they finally figured out which hot cable kept shorting out and also "how the heck is this thing still running?!?" Some manufacturer recall that wasn't performed that shortened the life of the engine.... Anyway, they stuck me in another SMX 9400i. This was all back in the days when I just 'dealt with' problems and made lemonade out of juice that never came from lemons. I would never put up with that kinda treatment/ equipment nowadays but I was a n00b and figured everyone ate excrement their first year or 3.
