Yeah that's what i figured, but apperently WE isn't the best place, but like many say its a good starter company which is all it is for me. Gonna do my few months here then see if i can find something regional around Louisiana like Ozark or H&R trucking, im still looking around but im doing my best to keep my record clean so i have no problem walking through doors soon.

They got you moving yet and are they paying you for your downtime?

Oh Good Lord 35 a day..the horror, seriously doubt you will ever see it. Slave labor. Well since you are running maybe you can stick it out 75 more days and get out of there if that's what it takes to get your 2500 back..it's a 90 day contract? If it's more than that I would get out asap. Yea you gotta pay your dues but not at all cost. There are many better starterish companies out there..you deserve better with your background.

I disagree, a few negatives you can disregard. WE is like a turds that won't stay down when you flush. I've talked to a few of their hands, and the only "happy" ones are the last chance guys. They tell you the company is ship, just like the reviews, but they're happy to be getting a check.

I should have prefaced my comment with "Generally Speaking". I agree 100% on your remarks about WE. I can not wrap my head around their "business model". It is almost as if, " We have such a horrible reputation, instead of trying to remedy things, let's just double down and suck twice as bad!!" I would certainly hate to have one of the Owners, or anybody in Management as a neighbor! Lol:biggrin_25516::biggrin_25510::biggrin_25513:

Ain't proud of it but I did 15mos with ol western express.... 9400i is what they gave me to drive. It was an olllld smithway truck and the thing couldn't pull a hill to save itself. CB antenna got hit by lightning somewhere in MO and burned through a hot cable and the truck would just randomly shut down. It did this out in PA once going uphill and in the middle of a busy cloverleaf. Truck finally had to go into the Memphis for a clutch related issue wherein they finally figured out which hot cable kept shorting out and also "how the heck is this thing still running?!?" Some manufacturer recall that wasn't performed that shortened the life of the engine.... Anyway, they stuck me in another SMX 9400i. This was all back in the days when I just 'dealt with' problems and made lemonade out of juice that never came from lemons. I would never put up with that kinda treatment/ equipment nowadays but I was a n00b and figured everyone ate excrement their first year or 3.

Couldn’t disagree more. Use a little common sense/critical thinking skills and reviews are invaluable. If there are lots of negative reviews out there with common themes, it would be foolish to ignore them.
