The license you get will reflect the vehicle tested in. So if you want a class a with no restrictions, you need a vehicle with air brakes, manual, 5th wheel, and trailer over 10k (total combined over 26k) pounds.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -

In Ohio class B with air brakes upgrade to A is a walk in simple computer test.
We even have our own commercial license bureau next door to the main license bureau.
No wait at all...just walk in and tell them you want to go from B/Air to A/air and they sit you at a PC and you are done in 10 minutes.
