Las Vegas Strip is crime ridden after dark; murders, rapes, muggings, etc.

The victim was sucker punched by a homeless vagrant that was rambling and talking non-sense. He fell backwards and hit his head on an escalator step.

Perhaps if Metro was actually out walking the beat instead of sitting on their ##### watching real time footage things might have turned out differently.

I hate to say it but the homeless situation in Clark county is heading the way of California. It’s been bad for a while but doing nothing is obviously going to lead to more of these kinds of situations.

I, for one, am shocked, absolutely shocked that Las Vegas, sin city, home of excessive amounts of gambling, booze, drugs & legal prostitution attracts thugs like that.

Who'd a thunk there would be any crime in a place like that?

If you want to see the zoo, go to youtube and search for vegas fighting and there are tons of videos. Many are really graphic and full of thugs acting like animals and rough language. Didn't seem appropriate to put the link here.

As a result of the increase in crime in the Clark County area, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has decided to set up their "Eye in the Sky" style of policework.

I thought that's what everyone wanted? California to lead the way?

Many homeless in Las Vegas were bussed here from California. A bus ticket is cheaper than having to deal with them in California.
