How's the freight moving at CFI? Still running a flatbed until my boss can find a replacement driver, not having much luck. Guess not to many people want to start with a new company and new equipment during the winter months. Only has 14 trucks, but plenty of freight, mostly hauling military equipment or anything that fit on the deck. Hopefully I can get in orientation by the end of this month or early next month. Staying in touch with recruiters an letting them know I'm still interested. Thanks, be safe and keep the rubber side down.

I see CFI is offering a $5,000 sign on bonus. Anyone have any information on this, like how long they may be offering it, how it may be paid out, or what the qualifications may be? Asking for myself and a friend that's going to be applying in the next few weeks. Thanks

That roof was awful man. You could unscrew it by hand and they did it over the top of two layers of shingles.

I think I can get the insurance to get a brand new one put on because we had all that snow and ice thru here a couple of weeks ago.
+ It is illegal to the codebook.

You only get two layers by the book. If someone tells me they want to shingle over the top of another layer then doesn't say it is for the environment. I just leave. So ghetto.

Oh yeah, to much weight on the roof rafters, make them start to bow over time. Plus a lot easier to start from scratch rather than trying to fix someone else's mistakes.

I have also heard that but I've yet to see any CFI Reefers yet. I am assuming these came from some old Celadon contracts? I know when I was still there and they went belly up that they were eager to eat up some of that business. One of my last loads was a former Celadon customer, saw their trailer in the customer's parking lot. Some weird home goods store I'd never ever heard of or seen before.
