We've been doing that for a freaking year, enough is enough and no they'll keep making excuses why we can't get rid of the masks, before long it'll be 5 more years.....the government shouldn't and doesn't have that power, unless we allow it...

Exactly. Covid is a bad flu season. Time to open up and get on with life.

I can’t believe you need the logic explained to you. I wear a mask so I don’t give YOU the virus if I happen to have it, asymptomatic either because I have a mild case or I just got it and don’t have symptoms yet.

No, a typical flu season in Texas kills maybe 5,000. The worst flu season on record (at least since the 1918 pandemic) killed 11,000 people. COVID-19 has killed 44,000 and it isn’t over yet (though it will be fairly soon as more folks get vaccinated).

I hate to bear bad news, but covid isn’t going away. It will only be tamed. We either live with liberty, or not.

1957-1958 Pandemic (H2N2 virus) | Pandemic Influenza (Flu) | CDC.
Often overlooked, but i vaguely remember this pandemic. It was just a year after they gave us the polio vaccine on a sugar cube.
These virus's will always be with us. We have to be proactive and take action when they first appear, and not stand around whistling in the wind.
