PACCAR MX13 EPA10 equipped with a 18speed in a 386 peterbilt. At 455hp and 580k miles will it live hauling asphalt grossing 160k after?

Possible to swap motor to a CAT down the road?

It will survive, it will just be painfully slow.

    I have a 475hp pulling 130k sometimes and she's a toad.

And, from my understanding - legally - you're not allowed to put an engine in a truck if it didn't come from factory with that engine.

Technically illegal to go backwards in terms of emission standards. The same level or better.

Not to mention the hassle of wiring and computer. And everything else needed to make it work with everything.
