You are uninsurable with just 2 months experience. You should have stuck it out with CR for a couple years.

The first thing I recommend is going back to school for some remedial courses. Illiteracy is not a good trait.

Fluctuations in real estate values don't really matter if the home is paid for. The OP could have a paid for home. To me, the value in OWNING a home is the security of no rent or monthly mortgage payment.

I've got over 7 years trucking experience starting in 2003, there is an 11 year break in there. Even with that, I would never buy a truck.

I like the original post at 12:45 and a juvenile little “hello” post at 12:48. Expected results that fast huh?

21 years old. That makes sense. Good day to you.

Opus, TallJoe, gentleroger and 4 others Thank this.

You need experience and business sense if you want to buy a truck. Personally owning one isn’t for me and Ive been driving almost 6 years. That money will disappear quickly if you go into this with only 2 months experience, I can guarantee you that.
In the end you’re going to do what you want but I have a feeling you’ll be back asking for companies to work for who will hire you with less than a year experience. We see it a lot on this site. Take my advice, listen to the experienced drivers on here. There are a lot better things to do with that money. Put a large chunk of it into something that increases in value. Buying a truck with your lack of experience can and probably will drain your account pretty quick. Trucks are expensive to operate and maintain. Not trying to be mean, I’m just trying to be real with you.

Coffey and Professor No-Name Thank this.
