Dual leveling valves is a pretty common setup for off-road applications out here. Seems like they are a lot more stable.

Call a different dealer, we just got the complete build sheet for my uncles 1976 when we were ordering parts for it (after the parts guys stopped laughing at us for still having a 1976 in the yard)

and they had the parts in stock

Be a man, do away with that air ride sissy stuff and put a Hendrickson walking beam under it. Little bumpy on the highway but if you go off road it's the hot setup especially if you're pulling a dump trailer or something

Stick a set of 5.38 rears with those springs an it makes that 290 small cam pull like.... well a 290 small cam, but it is better then the 237 in the Mack

I chopped my walking beam suspension up and tossed it in the scrap bin lol. Freightliner air ride is the best for highway IMO. Cheap, simple and light. If I was getting a truck for logging, lowbed or gravel, Neway air ride 250%.

    Hey I've got a 1986 r model Mack 2 valve e n d t 676, TRXL107 trans, width 122,000 original miles on her.

She was here at my building when I bought the place. Lived here all her life. The mack dealer here that sold her told me that the old boy the owned my place bought her and two exactly like her brand new in 1986, kept them in the garage and never even put a tag on any of them until 1991.

    She's got a Camelback suspension,and with a slight fuel recalibration she'll kick any 350 Cummins ###

By the way, my LTL 9000 Ford has it Hendrickson under it.

I do have one new way air ride setup but it's under my trail King TK 70 sliding axle trailer.

That is interesting. You might give that dearer a bump.
I have had similar problems with other brand trucks and found dealers that helped.
First was a Ford: Long Lewis in Alabama.
Second was an IHC: Carolina IHC in Columbia.

    226k original on the 81 dm600 with the 237

actually a family friend has a 66 361 brockway in the barn with under 100k on it, 220 and a 5/4 been pestering him to sell it for a few years but he won’t.

would love to find a Ford dealer, we just rerailed my uncles 97 LTL and finding parts for them is less then easy, even though I love the truck itself, pretty sure they also had the Hendrickson set up so basically empty you were only really riding around on the rear axle for ride quality, there’s a parts one in the yard on nuway that may or may not get rebuilt after the 97 is done,

interesting to know, me and my buddy just tried to adjust mine for the same issue, got it right in the shop, and now it’s doing the same thing. Not as bad tho.
