Yes, if you do the math on things, there is really not a significant gain for the risk. What if a driver gets in a crash, not their fault, on 465. The data will be downloaded from the truck. If the speed limit was being exceeded, the situation is now different. The lawyers will capitalize on that!

I run no faster than 55 in the middle lane because I am a professional truck driver, not a steering wheel holder.

Those paperwork tickets are BS tickets with today's tech.
Officers probably check that before they get out of their car by running the plates.

If your insurance was no good the FMCSA safer would have you shut down.
Registration is on a website also.
Isn't that what the officer does even after he gets documents from us drivers.
Sure it makes it easier to look up. But it's not hard to do, MC is on the door.

Yes I know it's required to carry proof.
Just seems in today's tech filled world it's not necessary.

Driving in the restricted lanes and 10 over! Well that's an easy catch for the officer. Passing a car and getting back over probably no tickets, but riding out there. You found the answer.
Hope you improve your driving habits.

I agree it wouldn’t be hard for them to do
But I imagine it would actually be easier for us to have it and be organized

    Maybe not. I’m not sure??

The answer should have been never.....
