My point is not to carry the paperwork, if needed. (When the database is not available) that's whenthe the driver sits for not having these credentials.

My point is, when the information is easily accessed via the internet, why is the money grab ok.

The hodge podge system of paperwork has worked many years. I don't see many bingo cards, There is a new thing called the internet.

Didn't the fed's stop the requirement to carry a copy of your medical card?
    Yes they did!
    Why?
Because officers can access that information via the web!

    Same system.
There is know logical reason to give drivers fines for not having any of the paperwork we carry.

You don't have a clue what you are talking about! You are trying to over simplify a rather complex compliance situation and I am done! Have a great day!

    It is simple.
On the safer website. (This is my first clue)
There a person can find if a company has a valid MC, insurance if it's active.
    Several items.
Why not just add the required paperwork that the companies could upload.
Similar to the way some online broker/company contracts work.

The issue I have is, the money penalty, tickets given for not having this in the truck. When most of it is accessible online.
    (This is my 2nd clue)
This isn't 1960 with the hodge podge state permits, even that simplified to the IRP and IFTA. Now it's time to combine more information.

You have a great day as well.

i had no idea i was mingling amongst the best drivers in the world.

what this guy did does not make him a terrible, careless or otherwise bad driver. he got caught. i think whoever said he got complacent hit the nail on the head. it happens. some of you guys are acting like he drove into a kindergarten classroom while high on meth, coke and heroin while gambling, cheating on his wife and beating his children while simultaneously spraying cfc filled aerosols with wild abandon.

    lighten up, francis(es).

Wrong. Anybody who spends any time in or around Indianapolis knows that 465 is an infamous speed trap.

    DoubleO7 Thanks this.
