I reserved parking earlier today. I arrived and all the spots were filled. They told me to park at a pump, they can’t contact or locate nine drivers.

I guess score one for dirt bag poop bag drivers. I’d like to go have dinner and an adult beverage but what if they want me to move at some point.

I’ve always parked at Wild West but for some dumb reason I thought this would be more convenient.

They should have those 9 trucks towed.

If TA is going to continue with this reserved parking deal they need to stay committed to keeping those spots open for the folks who are paying for them.

Parking at a fuel pump is unsafe and absolutely ridiculous. I certainly understand from your point of view you needed a spot to park.

I would be on the phone with corporate this morning, no doubt about it. Someone would be getting an ear full.

That's amazing - b/c the last time I was there, I parked (legally in a spot) and went in for a shower, and when I came back out there was a security droid waiting for me and informed me that I had been there 45 minutes, and needed to leave. Say what now? Dipsit's answer was that NOBODY was allowed to "camp" and it was short-term only, pointed at a sign (in the car section!) that said no long term parking, right next to a van that was OBVIOUSLY long term (one of those RV vans) with two people sitting in an open side door and a GRILLE on the ground.

Questioned the management inside and they said the droid was correct. Haven't been back since, drove up to the Pilot in North Vegas and had a pleasant uneventful evening instead. These security droids are out of control.

I ended up going to LA and back to Vegas last night. Got to the Petro late but my spot was open. Blindside after a long day.
Wild West for me, when I come back through.

Maybe TA/Petro isn’t aggressive with moving trucks anymore since the OKC TA shooting.

I think we used to stay at the wild west when I was out there. If that's the same place if I remember correctly it was really great for truck parking.

I always park at the Wild Wild West when I’m passing through. Used to be a real treat for me as I’d walk over to In n Out across the street. They opened up in Dallas where I live a number of years ago and the thrill is gone. Still a decent burger by fast food standards.
