Came across this company called Zego insurance in Europe. They provide insurance using telematics data. Something like metromile. Why can't insurance companies provide a full fledged fleet management solution for free?
My question is would a company that provides free fleet management software in return for buying their insurance make sense for owners of fleets? I'm not talking of just a gps tracker but a full fledged solution including dashcams, routing and dispatch, engine diagnostics and ELD.

There is no such thing as a free lunch.
Anything free will cost more somewhere else. For insurance it means most likely a higher premium, or even more fighting to get a payout.stillwurkin Thanks this. -
