WOW, not necessarily TTR material ( hitting a semi would be more appropriate) and I believe 3 people in the plane died, but you think YOU had a bad day. A second earlier, and that 4 wheeler might have been toast too. Planes falling out of the sky has been going on since the Wright Brothers. Big difference today, there's a camera in everybody's pocket to capture this mayhem. Usually, small planes do pretty good in emergency landings, this one looked over before it hit.

    lovesthedrive Thanks this.

yeah, and HAD there been a tractor-trailer involved, i wonder how much BS the lawyers for the family(s) would have dug into the truckers electronic logging device to make certain, he was there at the wrong time.

meaning, the lawyers would have crawled up and into the truckers butt to find a way to make him and his company pay, cuz the plane would have landed safely....had the truck not been there.

Well, judging by the angle the plane came in, a safe landing was out of the question. Don't worry, the vultures are jumping over themselves to get in on this one.

    lovesthedrive and buddyd157 Thank this.

i dunno, reminds me of a drunk driver in his car, slamming into the rear of the trialer, and winning the lawsuit, cuz the truck should not have been there at that time, and the drunk would have crashed into something softer, like a car.

but, yeah, the vultures have already circled that area.

NavigatorWife, lovesthedrive and 201 Thank this.

My dad had a strip mall right down the street from the little local airport here in Naples , so get a lot of low level air traffic.

I was working on the roof one day and watched a plane stall on takeoff and crash on the 4 lane road right in front of me. Unbelievable no body was killed and there was big hole in the traffic where he crashed.

kinda reminds me of a joke i think the late George Carlin said...

"travel is VERY safe in a plane these days, over travel by train...."

"all the train wrecks, derailments, etc"

    "so flying is MUCH safer"...

"why just the other day in fact, there was yet ANOTHER train wreck"...!!!!!!

"a plane crashed into a train".....!!!!
