What if it Snows?

In this age of Politcal Correctness I'm surprised that antiquated term from the first half of the 20th century is still know... Let alone used... Lol

 

I have successfully navigated the snow tundra of western NE and eastern WY. I am currently in the middle of nowhere, #### near in the exact center of WY. I have about 4.5 hrs of driving left to the company yard... I will be there long before the sun comes up.


Mean while every truck stop on I-80 from Salt Lake City, UT to Lincoln, NE is packed to the gunnels with trucks waiting for 80 to open. And it will remain closed until at least morning...


I dont even want to think what traffic is going to be like when it does finally open. Hope none of y'all are, and/or get stuck in that fuster cluck.

 

What does it mean when the chicken is upside down? Are you performing voodoo?

 

This is a perfect example of why I lile US26 through WY.... I just got to Idahofalls, I-80 is still closed. Id much rather be here than stuck in some truck stop on 80.



I can be sitting in my chair at the house in 45 mins if I want, but I need to get at least a few hours sleep before I drive anymore.

3901 miles in less than 6 days and I still have 7 hrs and 12 mins left on my 70.... LOL

 

Holy #### lol i am right at 4k miles for the month so far

 

I'm at 7493.5 miles for the month according to my odometer. But I'll tell ya what, as good as it feels to really put in the miles... It wears a body out mighty fast.
