Mercer Now requiring contractors to install omnitracs cameras

    Put a deposit down if they wanted to secure it and when returned with documentation to shw it have the deposit returned..this is if they Choose to charge something..

    I tend to stick to myself, don't really pay much attention.

    Maybe that's the problem, I don't bleed blue.

    the problem with that is the way they set them up so that the forward facing camera CAN SEE your reflection in the windshild..... alot of drivers for other companies have been fired because of it.... a friend was fired for not putting his seatbelt on when he pulled up from the fuel island

    We can install them ourselves. And they say there is no way they can monitor anything, no real time access to the camera.

    Until they change cameras next year, like my company did last year, after ridiculing any idea of ever using driving facing cameras because as they themselves stated "you can already prove all fault in an accident with the forward facing camera".

    I never said real time. BUT it can be trigger by a bump/pothole
