I am very surprised that nobody mentioned I-10?! Florida man on one end, California crap on the other, and lots of horrible maintained highway in between.

 

I-10 from New Mexico to Florida doesn't seem bad to me. And finally, the construction through El Paso is finished.

I-40 through Arizona and New Mexico? Total suckville.

I'd move I-95 up the list a few places, personally. Or to put it another way, on any given day I'd rather drive from OKC to Laredo than drive from DC to Boston.

Edit: Actually, on any given day I'd rather drive anywhere between San Diego and Bellingham than DC to Boston.

Another edit: Also, this doesn't seem any worse than trying to get into and out of the DC last week after the snow. Wait, no, actually, it seems better. Honestly.
