Ya quite possibly. I’m not set on there being an issue, just wanted to see what others thought. It’s on the bottom end of the specs at idle so it’s a bit concerning but I’m sure my own paranoia is contributing.

Same exact problem with my c15 acert bxs. Fresh rebuild with new oil pump. ##### idles hot at 20 psi. My cummins n14 idles 15-18psi. Almost no difference.

I’d say your rods and mean bearings weren’t torqued correctly. If you don’t get the correct crush on the bearings it’s just like having worn out bearings and that will cause low oil pressure. -
If your gauges are electronic, make certain your alternator is putting out the correct voltage.
