how to shut off the idle shutdown on a 2015 Peterbilt with isx

    Good evening, I have a 15 isx 12 in a 15 peterbilt trash truck. Would love to get rid of the idle shutdown. Suggestions? i have insite

    Go into the settings you’ll see idle shutdown I believe it is. I’ll have to open In -site back up snd check if you can’t figure it out.

    Features and Parameters- left column.

    Expand all

    Scroll down to Idle shutdown. Drop down arrow to change from enabled to disable.

    Right click on the setting and send to ECM

    Key cycle.......done.

    If that doesn’t work and you have cruise control, turn it on and once the brakes are set hit the set button on your cruise to raise the idle above 700rpm and it shouldn’t shut down
