I HATE moving my own furniture .
You ain’t got enough $$ to pay me to move other peoples furniture .
And I figured The Pods would have really put the hurt on household moving since they have earned a bad reputation for doing cheap quotes and then holding your furniture hostage until you pay 3x the original quote . -
why would anyone do that when they can go to a community college ?
In my state the community college CDL course is $1,600plankton Thanks this. -
In my state the community college (Ivy Tech) CDL Driving school offers several locations and costs $4950 or $4100 depending on location and affiliate. Also has different options on classes and timeframes, (nights / weekends / 3 wks / 160 hours / etc). not sure any financial aid is offered.

our state probabaly has that , but we probabaly earn too much to qualify so we didn’t even bother with it for $1,600 -
$1600 or $4950, either way getting your own CDL gives you much more flexibility in jobs. The school I went to had a sheet of a couple dozen OTR and regional companies that hired directly from them, and another sheet with dozens of local small outfits. A lot of the companies will reemburse as well. Much better way to go IMO.
