Trucking in North America vs around the world

Anybody here like the Ford Focus ST? I like it. Ford stopped selling the Focus in the USA back in 2018.

 

i like manual for everyday use except when i see other people driving my car - especially when cold.
i am 179,4cm 79kg, i always sit with backrest upright and seat lowered to floor, especially on rwd cars to feel it better, front part of seat slightly inclined backwards, knees about 60degrees steeringwheel pulled little bit towards me

 

is rs available?

 

how common are concrete pumps there?
here i would say every 5th or 6th truck in fleet would be pump.
conveyor belts are almost non existing anymore.

also very common are combination between pump and mixer in one, legally you can squeeze 6.5q yards of concrete and have 79ft boom on 8x4 mixer. in italy they make up to 115ft boom and 12q yards.
we sell mostly 92ft with 12q yards.
body would cost 135000€ usually, truck chassis around 95.000.
they dont have capacity of big concrete pump (max. 50%), but it is good enough for smaller scale construction site (like private house).

here no one buy 2axle pumps anymore, last one we had was in 2017.

 

There is no Focus MK4 RS.

any reason why plow attachment point is made so huge?

 

Real plows for more than 15 cm of snow......?

 

but it does not look (red one above) like it can handle any serious snow.

from what i have seen safety system on plows in usa almost dont exist, here first springs will allow one of segments of plow to deflect if you catch manhole or something. if you catch dilatation on bridge with high speed it is possible that plow will not be able to absorb all energy it will crack on designed spot, but this energy will be less likely transferred on truck and driver.
on mb it is not possible to spec airbag when you spec attaching point for snowplow.

what is weight of serious plows? here it would be about 3000 lbs, and 25000€ in money.
mb can take up to 4840lbs on front end of chassis
