Holy cow Scotty, shingles and covid at the same time? Talk about the double whammy. Glad you're on the mend, that sounds like hell to go through. I've heard that some people that have covid symptoms for extended periods are getting good results from the vaccine even after they've already had the covid. Shingles alone can mess a person up for months, so I may get the vaccine for it after hearing your story.

I generally will only deliver to Walmart or Costco DC's since they are the easiest to work with and wait times generally aren't very long. Both will take a load early if you call ahead.

Thanks Steve, I have recently read that even after infection I should get the shingles shot. I've heard the shot can be pretty tough by itself and tear your arm (or wherever they stick you) up for a little while but it can't be anything like the sickness.

Also, I will need to carry an antiviral with me pretty much forever and start taking it right away if I ever have symptoms come back. This is kind of a laugh since I don't think they are ever going to go away!

I'm a little better each day though, thanks.

Got the shingles vaccine several years ago. FYI, it is two shots separated over a couple months period. No reaction whatsoever. And I had never had an outbreak prior, just precaution because of my age.
