What size ramps do you use?

You have ramps do you mean mega ramps?

I'm running a janky setup for ramps on my trailer right now to load cars. I fold down the mega ramps then Bungie my 7 ft aluminum ramps about 1/4 way up on the bottom half then I have some 2x10's cut to fit on top of the upper section of the ramp. The 2x10 raises the car enough to get it over the top of the ramp section so it doesn't bottom out.

It's a bit of a PITA but I've loaded some low cars with it. I'm not real thrilled because it takes a lot of extra time to set everything up vs just setting down some ramps and being done but it does work.

I used to use a two ramp system, with a light angle 8ft ground ramp getting them up the first 24in, and a second 8ft ram from trailer to base to get the remainder way up onto the deck over trailers. It was a pain to store such extensive ramp systems. Everything I have has an butt dragging dove tail with the exception of my 20ft expediter rig, which sits about 20in off the ground. I keep dunnage with me when I run out with that, as some boards will save a load when you really get in a bind.

You want to get as much ramp as you can afford to carry with you. Cars are the best paying when considering CPM/weight. I enjoy moving trucks and SUV's, but hauling more cars at a slightly lower rate is great. Any pictures of your rig?

Yeah the mega ramps. I decided to get 10 footers. We’ll see how it works out
