it is interesting for me to see that you guys have often very aggressive tyre pattern on some type of trucks that dont even do some extreme duty like this one, i mean especially on front axle.

in germany for example majority of 8x4 tippers run on regional tires on all axles.
we have some people who opt even for 13r22.5 michelin xforce zh (previously called xzh2)

 

i think i read somewhere that nyc has in total 6000 snow plow vehicles, of which 4000 are garbage trucks. that is impressive fleet.

yes it is actually r500 6x2 euro5, i am bit rusty on year but i think 2008.
it was initially from germany, company roland singer transporte, it used to pull foodstuff 3axle feldbinder tank trailer. company does not longer exist, scania was sold to sweden, company larod akeri in 2012.
now she pulls 19m long trailer with steel, which is perfect application for longline cab, for this you need long wheelbase tractor, about 1m longer than normal 6x2 tractor, so to fill gap between tractor and trailer you really have to get larger cab.
and she has younger sister but inline 6....(which is worst idea you can get, invest money in custom scania with boring engine, means wasted money....)
