    This is one of my worst dreams. I always try to nose in, sleep at receiver's or smaller truck stops. Big truck stops and rookie drivers just terrify me

    Just imagine how i was pissed having my 2 month ago painted truck damaged while i was in the shower ..at 11am ...parked so far away to make sure no one around my beautiful truck ..

    Yep. Better be prepared to go after your own insurance company also.
    Have your income from the last 6 weeks, and average it out. You need to be compensated for that down time. The lawyer will get this pushed through, your insurance company may not.

    Same thing happened to me about 5 years ago. I was down for about a month. I learned to never park in a spot that's on the end row and will only back into a spot that already has trucks parked on both sides.
