A little “rattle can” red down the fenders and side skirts and you could set yourself apart and lose the “white Volvo” moniker! But in the big picture who gives a “sheet”?! As long as it earns you a living! And really we can tell the difference....your whole truck isn’t falling apart and you don’t have the requisite waaaay to bright light bar along with out of adjustment fog lights. I just hope you’re not riding around in sandals with your foot up on the dash not practicing lane control!!!
Why do people make fun of white Volvo’s

Few weeks ago, I was looking at a brochure for a Volvo VNL 860, heated windshield, heated LED headlights/foglight housings, adjustable bed, all the comforts of home, my boss said no, I was sad.

Seriously. Only trucks I haven’t driven are the mechanical ones. Pete 379, etc. I’ve driven everything else. Volvo’s are my favorite. Wonderful to drive. I’m driving a new white 760 now.

I drove an older Volvo for a bit during my training. Rode nice but I cringed every time I hit a bump. Thought the dash was gonna fall off the firewall. The old FL Classic had a more solid interior.

Well, being from the desert, I'll take a white vehicle over any other color, all other things being equal. I am also very devoted to Volvos and have no desire to drive any other brand of truck. So, although my current Volvo is blue, it is quite possible someday I'll be in the infamous white Volvo. However, since I drive for Swift, I've kind of gotten used to being judged negatively for something that has little bearing on my reality.
I'm reminded of a line of dialog I think was from Doc Holliday in the movie Tombstone. And, I'm paraphrasing here because unsure if I remember it exactly. "In order for me to take offense, your opinion would have to matter to me".tommymonza and bzinger Thank this.
